Become a Volunteer
The Rocklin Unified School District appreciates families participating in their child's education by volunteering. Prospective volunteers are encouraged to start the process promptly to complete the necessary steps.
The school's front office will provide prospective volunteers with a Volunteer Packet. The packet includes the following information:
- Parent/Guardian Information Form
- Please complete your portion of the form and list all students attending Rocklin Unified schools.
- Confidentiality Agreement
- Live Scan Service Form
- Print the completed Live Scan form and take a copy to the Live Scan location of your choice.
- Attach a copy of your current Tuberculosis (TB) results.
- Please attach your TB results to the Volunteer Packet before clicking "Submit."
- TB results expire after four years.
- Prospective volunteers will receive a "view-only" link to your Volunteer Packet when it has been completed and signed by the school principal.
- Once you have received clearance to become a school volunteer, the Volunteer Coordinator will contact the teacher and let him/her know you are cleared to volunteer.
- Rocklin Unified will continue to receive information on the volunteer from the U.S. Department of Justice until a notice is sent by the school district to the Department of Justice, indicating that the volunteer is no longer volunteering.
- When the student(s) leave the school district, the fingerprints of the volunteer associated with them become inactive. If students return to the school district, they will need to provide new fingerprints to volunteer.
