Communications and Community Engagement
The Communications and Community Engagement Department shares the mission, vision, values and goals of the Rocklin Unified School District and engage the community in support of student achievement. Our goal is to increase awareness, visibility and support for our outstanding RUSD people and programs!
We also connect with our community and corporate partners in building a thriving learning environment for our children so they can reach their full potential and lead fulfilling lives. We oversee communication for our school district of nearly 12,000 students and approximately 1,100 staff through strategic communication planning, community relations, partnerships, marketing, branding, and advising our staff and district leadership. Schools are supported through consulting on a variety of issues, including marketing, outreach, and crisis response. The office is responsible for Rocklin Unified's districtwide internal and externals communications, community relations, media relations and social media, to name a few.
RUSD News and Information
We keep the community connected to school success by pro-actively sharing news from our schools through a variety of channels including our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Our office serves as the liaison to the news media and the general public so that we can keep our community informed of our successes and up-to-date during emergencies and crises.
