Artificial Intelligence
The Rocklin Unified School District (RUSD) is excited to continue our journey into educational Artificial Intelligence (AI) with the next phase of our AI Pilot Program. Following a successful launch last year using MagicSchool AI and Brisk, we are expanding and refining our efforts to support instruction, learning, and innovation in the classroom.

For the 2025-26 school year, BRISK will continue to serve as our primary AI platform. Based on overwhelmingly positive feedback from staff and the meaningful instructional gains observed during the pilot, we are deepening our support and training around BRISK to help streamline planning, differentiation, and formative assessment.
We are also excited to explore Google’s latest AI tools:
- Gemini is in Google Workspace and Google Classroom, which are now embedded for teachers and are being explored for future student use.
- Notebook LM is a powerful AI-supported tool for synthesizing research and classroom resources.
Together, these tools align with our district’s commitment to:
- Support personalized and authentic learning experiences.
- Enhance teacher efficiency and creativity.
- Improve access and equity through thoughtful technology integration.
