Rocklin Unified School District

The Rocklin Unified School District Grounds Department contains three traveling crews that service our elementary and middle school sites.  Our high school sites have on-site personnel that maintain their grounds.  In addition, we have a grounds shop mechanic and floating ground staff to fill in and assist with special projects.  

 

Our Grounds Staff are responsible for installation and repair of irrigation systems, fertilization, care and mowing of lawn areas, pruning and weeding, planing, directing and assisting with pesticide management (when students are not present), preparing athletic fields, playground equipment maintenance and assisting maintenance staff.
