School Facilities Improvement
Maintaining Excellent Education for Rocklin Students
In Rocklin Unified School District (RUSD), our award-winning schools provide high-quality education to elementary, middle and high school students in our community. We are proud to be ranked in the top 10% in test scores in the state, and our 97% graduation rate helps prepare local kids for bright futures.
Addressing Needs in Local Classrooms
Some RUSD classrooms and school buildings are more than 60 years old, our first high school is 25 years old and newer schools are in need of basic safety repairs and upgrades. Our Rocklin students need to graduate with skills in science, technology, engineering and math, and current classrooms and labs are outdated and need upgrades. Our schools also need to be able to continue providing personalized instruction that promotes student success as attendance grows.
Potential Local Funding for School Improvements
To maintain safe and modern schools, the RUSD School Board is considering placing a $198 million school facility improvement bond measure on an upcoming ballot. As we explore options to make the updates and repairs that our schools need, we welcome your feedback. Please see the links below for more information and a community survey.
